• The Stepovak Formation is exposed at West Head where it reaches in excess of 150 feet in thickness and comprises brecias, volcanics and sandstone. Probably late middle Oligocene

Environment/lithology: marine; poorly lithified, brown sandstone and pebbly, shelly/skeletal conglomerate
